For the last 3 days we’ve been without any heating as the air blower on the boiler decided to die. The miracle, however, is that it’s been really mild, even by Selsey’s standards. To warm our cockles though, yesterday we received the blog books for this year from blog2print.
It’s gone to four volumes this year! Partly because we chose to have bigger pictures printed and partly because (James) seems to have been more verbose than ever – or is it just that we’ve done more?
To keep warm in the last few days James has embarked on the annual job of refurbishing the Taff rail from ‘Chance’. Stripping old varnish and sanding down is just the thing for keeping the circulation going.
The really good news is that the boiler is now working – thanks to a particularly efficient local heating engineer and so we’re now back to being comfortable again. This is the third appliance failure (after the freezer and the washing machine) since we’ve been home from the boat – they say problems always come in threes.
Ooh, is that one of my photos on (one of) the front covers?
ReplyDeleteOh No!!!! How much do you want this time Adam!!!
DeleteSpooky, we got our copy of print2blog yesterday and it looks like we went for the same design. x
ReplyDeleteHmm... our dishwasher and oven died within days of each other recently. Dishwasher now fixed and part coming for the oven, but what will go next, I wonder?
ReplyDeleteOhhh you used one of my pics too.... Our price is, of course, piccy bits and a glass of wine :-)
ReplyDeleteHi James and Debbie, We are sure we can do a deal on that! Look forward to it. x
