It’s quick blog this morning (Friday). We’re checking out of the hotel and moving on board ship for the journey back to the UK.
It’s just as well that we’re on the move as NY has gone from this scene – with the temperature a chilly –2C .
-2C but still able to get out and about.
Preparations in place ……….
……. for these scenes this Friday morning!
The temperature had dropped to –10C now and it’s a bit too cold for two tender travellers from England.
So, after a wonderful week in NY we’re now about ready to take to the luxury of the “Queen Mary 2” for the high seas and the voyage home.
Watch out for the icebergs guys!!
ReplyDeleteYou could make really good progress with the jet stream in its current position! and we hope the seas aren't too high.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you will need the engines running on that ship, there is a good blow coming from the states to Southampton!
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
Ooh, when do you get back? Royal Docks trip postponed until 10th/13th because of wind - join us if you can :-)
