The sides and roof were painted a few weeks ago but perfectionists MGM where not satisfied, so it was rubbed back and prepared again. The stern has been given a temporary deck and sealed to keep the engine bay clean.
“Chance” ready for the final paint. Rear door sealed against overspray. We’ve asked for a small port hole in the rear door to allow us to see what’s going on behind after we’ve locked for the night! It saves us doing an impression of a mere cat!
The well deck masked up ready for spraying
What a great idea to have a porthole in the rear door! Very clever. It's been filed in our catalogue of clever narrowboat ideas. :)
