We spent a few days at the Boatyard at MGM this week, and we are really pleased with the progress over the last 2 weeks.
The cabinets around the fire, and fireplace have been made.
And also the steps in the saloon. With storage underneath them…..
All the doors are being made at present so we are now trying to decide on the handles!
We are really pleased with what MGM has achieved with the dinette, its taking shape well.
The galley hasn’t changed much as we have been waiting for the floor tiles which have now arrived. Once they are down the units can then be fitted in the galley.
Hi Doug,
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog. Your boat is looking great. Love the colour! Oscar looks amazing for his age. I am due to see our vet at the end of March and will definatly put forward your suggestion of Metacam. Anything that improves Judy's quality is a massive bonus. Her currant pain killers only seem to work for a few hours so if she can act like a puppy again that will be wonderful.
I'll certainly keep up to date with your blog and look forward to seeing the finished boat.
Wow, she is looking gorgeous, I love all the woodwork and panelling, and your lay out is great, loving the fire in the middle rather than in the corner!
ReplyDeleteDebbie.
So where are you heading on your inaugaral swim - we are way overdue on a catch up. Love Jill
ReplyDeleteMany Thanks for all your comments.
ReplyDeleteJill and Graham, we are hoping to head north from Thurmaston on our first cruise, sometime in April for a try out for a couple of weeks, we will then head south down the GU Leics section and head to Crick for the show, as Chance is booked in for that. We are then free to go where we want, what are your plans this year so we can try and catch up with you all at some point? Doug x

ReplyDeleteWe shall be at the Welford Marina on the Leicester Arm of the GU 13th-16th June for Blacking, so we shan't be too far apart.
