A few days in the Isle of Wight

We have just arrived home after 4 days on the Isle of Wight in our motorhome. 

We go over often for the day but it was lovely to spend a few days travelling around the Island at leisure and luckily the weather was good to us as well.

We walked up Tennyson Down to the monument near Freshwater which we have always wanted to do, and then went onto the Needles Old Battery.

With a fantastic view of the needles out to sea.

We also met up with one of Doug’s old school friends who he hasn’t seen for over 25 years, as she happens to live on the Island. Thanks for a great evening guys at the Wight Mouse!

Sadly this will probably be the last trip we will have in the motorhome as we have decided to sell it as we will soon have the narrow boat to cruise on. So if anyone may be interested in a 4 berth, 6 year old motorhome, please get in touch!
